Where is The Sawmill Place located?
The Sawmill Place is located just outside Blairsville at 1150 Pat Haralson Memorial Drive. We're tucked away in the North Georgia mountains and just a short drive from downtown Blairsville (1 mile) and about a 2 minute drive from Union General Hospital.
What are your hours?
We're open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday, with dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Monday - Wednesday 6:30am - 2pm. Thursday - Saturday 6:30am - 8pm.
Do you serve breakfast all day?
No, we serve breakfast Monday - Friday until about 11am and Saturdays until about Noon.
How can I find out about your daily lunch and dinner specials?
We post our daily lunch specials on our Facebook page, usually the night before. On the nights we are open for dinner, the same daily specials will be available in the evening.
Is your dinner menu different from your lunch menu?
We offer the same daily lunch specials at dinner as well as our normal lunch menu. We typically have at least one additional special during dinner.
Do you take reservations?
We generally do not take reservations. We welcome guests on a first-come, first-served basis. During busy times, especially weekends and peak travel seasons, there may be a wait—but we think the food and mountain atmosphere are worth it! Guests can enjoy sitting on our large front porch and the coffee bar located in our Market can make you a specialty coffee or drink while you wait.
Do you offer takeout?
Yes! Many of our breakfast and lunch favorites are available to order online for takeout. Ordering ahead is a convenient option when you're on the go or heading back to your cabin.
Can I order online?
Absolutely. You can view our current menu and place an online order directly through our website. Our daily lunch or dinner specials are not available to order online; you can call the restaurant directly to order those items: 706-745-1250.
What kind of food do you serve?
We serve Southern comfort food with a farm-to-table approach. We work with local farmers whenever possible. Our menu features scratch-made favorites, homemade biscuits, breakfast classics, sandwiches, salads, burgers, seasonal dishes and more.
Where do you get your ingredients?
Supporting local farmers and producers is a big part of who we are. We source ingredients from local farms and Georgia growers whenever possible. Some of our local suppliers include Big Branch Valley Farms, 7M Farms, Freddie Collins Farm, Logan Turnpike Mill, Brasstown Beef and other North Georgia producers.
Do you have vegetarian or gluten-free options?
Yes. We offer a variety of choices for guests with different dietary preferences, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Because our menu and ingredients can change, please ask your server about current options and let us know about any dietary restrictions when ordering.

Absolutely! We're a casual, welcoming restaurant that's great for families, locals and visitors exploring the North Georgia mountains.
Do you have parking?
Yes. We have parking available on-site for our restaurant and Market guests.

We strive to make our restaurant welcoming and accessible to all of our guests. We have handicap parking at the front and a wheelchair ramp into the restaurant. Our Market is an extension of our farm-to-table philosophy. You'll find local products, Georgia-made goods and artisan items from the surrounding Tri-State area, including honey, syrups, jams, specialty coffee and tea, handmade gifts, soaps, candles as well as shirts, sweatshirts, hats and Blairsville stickers.
Can I shop at the Market without eating at the restaurant?
Absolutely! You're welcome to stop by the Market just to browse and shop. It's a great place to find a unique North Georgia gift or pick up something special for your cabin.

Yes! The Sawmill Place is available for private events outside of our regular operating hours. Events during normal business hours may also be accommodated with an additional private event fee. All private events are subject to availability.

Can I bring my dog?
Our outdoor porch area may be suitable for guests visiting with dogs. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room. Please ask a team member when you arrive about the best place to sit with your four-legged friend. If you want to dine with your dog, you can order food to go and eat on the porch.
